ABOUT THE BOOK
The US, China, and the EU are competing to regulate tech companies and shape the digital economy. Anu Bradford's book, Digital Empires: The Global Battle to Regulate Technology, explores this rivalry and the impact it will have on the future. Governments are trying to rein in powerful tech companies that control wealth and power, undermine privacy, and widen economic disparities. Bradford examines three regulatory approaches and how they collide in the international domain.
